Damo Base Guard

The DAMO BASE GUARD is a unique rack column protector that effectively protects the bottom part of pallet racking columns while allowing the installation or removal of beams at floor level.

Other post guards prevent low beam installation because they cover the holes meant for beam connectors. Conversely, the DAMO BASE GUARD is designed to be independent of the rack. It's solidly anchored to the floor and does not cover the front of the rack columns. At 7” in height, it has a low profile, thus allowing for beam installation near the ground.

• Heavy Duty: Made of a single 3/8" flat steel plate for front and sides.

• Back Channel: For easy assembly and added strength. Made of 1/4" steel.

• Front Anchors: Solidly anchored in the front with two 4" x 5/8" Hilti screw-type anchors.

• Back Channel Anchors: Two 4" x 1/2" Hilti screw-type anchors are used in the back.

• Stiffener: Made of 3/8" steel plate. Prevents deformation from frontal or lateral impacts.

• Base Plate: Made of 3/8" steel.

• Bolts: 3/8" button socket caps and nylon nuts.
